Following closely in his litter sister Ruby's footsteps, Blaze also made his presence felt, gaining his first certificate towards becoming a NZ Champion at six months two weeks of age.

Although very lightly shown Blaze was titled in record time winning multiple Best Of Breed, Group and In Show awards, making him eligible to qualify for the 2015 NZKC Puppy Of The Year competition (the only Rottweiler to qualify for 2014) He was also awarded the highly prized VP rating, being one of only 3 male puppies to receive this sought after accolade at the 2014 5th NZ Rottweiler National/30th Championship Show under Mr Steve Wolfson of Von Wolf Kennels (USA), Breed Specialist, and Author of "The Priority Of Breed Type In The Rottweiler"
